Terms of Service
Last updated October 6, 2026
These terms cover your use of the CleanUp desktop app, the website at clnup.si and a CleanUp account. By creating an account, buying a plan or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use CleanUp.
1. What CleanUp is
CleanUp is Windows software that finds and removes temporary files and caches, removes preinstalled apps, changes selected Windows settings, manages startup entries and shows Microsoft Defender status. It is not an antivirus product and does not replace one.
2. Your account
You need an account only for paid features. Give accurate information, keep your password private and tell us at support@clnup.si if you think your account was misused. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
3. Free and paid plans
- The free plan includes the features listed as free on our pricing section.
- CleanUp Pro is sold as a subscription ($2.99 per month or $19.99 per year) or as a one-time Lifetime license ($49). Prices shown exclude taxes unless stated at checkout.
- A paid plan may be used on up to 3 PCs at the same time.
- The yearly plan may start with a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first yearly payment is charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your account page; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Lifetime means the life of the product: you receive paid features for all 1.x and 2.x releases, with no further payments.
- We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you before a change affects a renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use CleanUp under these terms. Do not resell the paid features, share license tokens, work around license checks or use CleanUp to harm others' systems.
5. Changes CleanUp makes to your PC
CleanUp changes files, apps and settings only after you review and confirm them. Many changes can be undone from History, but some cannot: permanently deleted files and uninstalled apps cannot be restored by CleanUp. You are responsible for choosing what to change and for keeping backups of data that matters to you.
6. No warranty
CleanUp is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that CleanUp will make your PC faster, find every unnecessary file, or be free of errors.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
8. Ending use
You can stop using CleanUp and delete your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms; if we end a paid plan without cause, we refund the unused part.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice on this page or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use CleanUp after that means you accept them.
